Fiona earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Dundee in 2007. Fiona gained Denplan Excel Dentist accreditation and joined Berry Lane Dental Surgery in 2008, becoming a Partner in 2011. Fiona has a keen interest in aesthetically-driven dentistry and gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Restorative Dentistry and a Postgraduate Certificate in Endodontics. Fiona has lots of experience treating nervous patients and aims to make everyone feel calm and confident about their visits.
Away from work, Fiona spends her time with her 3 young children, family and friends.

Ben joined the practice in June 2017, He has brought his caring diagnostic skills to Berry Lane Dental Surgery.

Ben has an MSc in Clinical Orthodontics, treating both adults and children to straighten their teeth.
Ben also has an interest and advanced training in restorative dentistry, treating simple and complex cases and improving peoples smiles.

Ben became a partner in May 2018, he has two young sons Harry and Samuel.

Victoria joined the practice in 2023 as an associate.

She graduated from university of Sheffield in 2006 and has a special interest in Root Canal Treatments.

In her spare time she is kept busy with her family, springer spaniel and various sports.

Mel graduated from UCLan with a BDS from Liverpool University in 2012. Mel has worked in Arnside, Chorley and Kirkham and joined Berry Lane Dental Surgery in 2023.

Mel prioritizes quality patient care and prides herself on her work and attention to detail. She specializes in treating nervous patients and has a keen interest in periodontal/gum disease, and is completing a further education course to advance her knowledge in this area.

Mel lives locally with her husband Neil, 2 young children and their Miniature Schnauzer who keeps her very busy!

Shez qualified from the University of Liverpool in 1993 and has over 30 years of experience in dentistry, primarily in private practice across Blackburn and Lancaster.
He enjoys all aspects of family dentistry, with a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry. With a passion to provide high-quality care and regularly attend courses to keep his skills and knowledge up to date.
Shez believes in a team approach to dentistry, ensuring patients receive comprehensive care and the highest standard of service.
Outside work, Shez is happily married with three children, who keep him busy and also enjoys scenic walks, travelling, cycling and playing snooker with friends.

Hailing from North of the Border, Pamela has lived in Lancashire for over 20 years since marrying a local boy and has one grown up daughter.

Pamela genuinely enjoys her work and endeavours to build relationships with patients to help put them at ease.

Away from work Pamela enjoys the theatre, live music and spicy food.

Jo is a highly experienced member of our dental team, bringing over 30 years of experience in dentistry to her role. Originally from Darwen, Lancashire, Jo began her career as a dental nurse before qualifying as a Dental Hygiene Therapist in 2009.

With a genuine passion for dental hygiene, Jo is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health.

Outside of work, Jo is kept busy by her four Maltipoos – Bob, Dottie, Doug and Bertha! She also enjoys attending music concerts, spending time with her nephews and catching up with friends.

And when it comes to favourite food, nothing beats a good plate of mash potato!

Starting my dental career here at Berry Lane as a trainee at just 17, I’ve had the pleasure of gaining experience across different areas of dentistry, developed a particular passion for implant and oral surgery nursing.
Alongside my experience, I’ve gained additional qualifications in dental radiography, oral health education and intraoral scanning.
Returning to the practice as Practice Manager feels like a lovely full-circle moment. I’m so happy to be back in a place that has always felt like more than just a practice — it has a real family feel, and I’m proud to be part of that again.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and can often be found on the side-lines cheering on my son.

Ilona started working at Berry Lane Dental in November 2016 and enjoys greeting patients as they arrive & getting to know them.

During her spare time, Ilona enjoys going to exercise classes and watching a good Netflix series.

Sammy is a familiar and friendly face to our patients and a valued member of the team. A local resident of Longridge, she has extensive experience working in reception roles across a variety of areas.

With her warm and approachable nature, Sammy is passionate about making our patients feel welcome, comfortable and at ease from the moment they walk through the door.

Outside of work, Sammy enjoys spending time with her little boy. As a proud Longridge local, you’ll often spot her out and about in the local community.

Becca started working at Berry Lane Dental in February 2017, and qualified as a Dental Nurse in February 2019.  Becca’s favourite aspect of work is working as part of a brilliant team to ensure smooth running of the practice.

During her spare time, Becca enjoys long walks with her dog and little boy & cozy nights in.

Danielle started working at Berry Lane Dental in November 2015, and qualified as a Dental Nurse in September 2020.  Her favourite aspect of work is running an organised and efficient surgery.

During her spare time, Danielle enjoys reading a good book at night & days out with her 2 children.

Ellie started working at Berry Lane Dental in August 2020, and qualified as a Dental Nurse in February 2023. Ellie’s favourite aspect of work is helping her colleagues wherever she can.

During her spare time, Ellie enjoys going to Blackburn Rovers games as a season ticket holder & travelling.

Paige started working at Berry Lane Dental in September 2021, and qualified as a Dental Nurse in March 2024. Her favourite aspect of work is orthodontic nursing with dentist Ben.

During her spare time, Paige enjoys going to the cinema & trying out new places to eat.

Mae started working at Berry Lane Dental in January 2023. Mae enjoys learning new skills and hopes to become a great dental nurse.

During her spare time, Mae enjoys walking her dog and spending time with friends.
